A Happy New Year 2018 !
The past 5 New Years Eves I have always been in the ship heading to the Antarctica. So I felt a bit strange to be in Sydney at NYE.
My 2017 year started in Antarctica and ended with Hula Hoop.
Every year the time goes really quickly but I especially feel that 2017 year goes like a Tornado!!
My goal in 2017 was to make a 30 min show. I just performed it for NYE.
I noticed I need so much improvement for my 30 min show.
One of the things I need to work on is interaction with the audience.
I have done a more dance based show .
But I have to put more audience interaction for my show.
Of course, it is beautiful to see the artistry dance or high technical skill but this is not my priority.
I am aiming at making people smile, laugh and happy.
To create this kind of show, I need to communicate more with the audience.
In 2018, I need to go back with the original intention and hope to improve the whole concept of the show.
Another resolution of 2018 is to make more hula hoop videos.
I made Antarctica Hoop video in 2017. Now I want to make hooping videos in other countries , and next one is Sydney and Japan Hooping Video.
Hope I can make the Australian one soon.
Every year there are so many things I want to do and the time flies. But, I hope little by little I create what I want to do and bring the happy creations to you!

新年明けましておめでとうございます！!
ここ５年ほどは、毎年南極クルーズの船の上での年越し＋お正月だったので、シドニーでのお正月が変な感じです。
２０１７年は、南極で始まり、そして年越しはフープのお仕事での締めくくりでした。
毎年毎年、時が過ぎるのは早いですが、今年は怒涛の早さでした。
2017年は正直、この年末の30分のshowを目指して、頑張ってきました。
しかし、今回のshowで、色んな課題が浮き彫りに。。
と、いうことで、２０１８年はもっとトーク力を磨いて、今までのダンスベース、曲に合わせてのshowではなく、
もっともっと、見ていて下さる方とキャッチボールができるようなトークショースタイルに、少しづつ改変していきたいなー。
私はダンスや芸術性の高いパフォーマンスというのは、正直綺麗だなーとは思いますが、自分の目指すものはどちらかというと、そっちではない！
私は、見ていて下さるお客さんにハッピーな気持ちに、見ていて楽しくなる、そんなshowを作りたいのです。
ということはお客さんとのキャッチボールは必須！！！
今年は初心に戻って、勉強し直して、show全体の雰囲気を変えれればな～というのが目標です。
あとは、２０１７年に南極ガイド６シーズン目にして、初めてリリースした南極フープのビデオを、今度は世界シリーズにして、シドニー（オーストラリア）編と日本編を作る！！できれば、オーストラリア編はせめて、２０１８年中に作りたいな～と思っております。
毎年毎年やることが追いつかず、時間は怒涛のように過ぎますが、一つ一つ形に残していければな、楽しいものをお届けできればなと思っております。
